It's a little known fact that you can enable dark mode in the AWS Console. It's not a feature that's advertised anywhere, it's not even available in the UI but it's there, trust me. In this post, I'll show you how to enable it without using Dev Tools, using CloudTempo.

How to enable dark mode in the AWS Console using CloudTempo

1. Download CloudTempo extension for your browser. You can find it available on Chrome Web Store for Chrome and Edge Addons for Microsoft Edge

2. Open the AWS Console and press CMD + K (on Mac) or CTRL + M (on Linux and Windows) to open the CloudTempo menu.

3. Type dark and select AWS Console Dark Mode: Enable option and press Enter.

After a second, you'll see the AWS Console in dark mode!
